A U.S. Navy Veteran born into a largely military family, McMullen is a Writer, Director, Producer, Production Designer, Special Effects Make-Up Artist, as well as a former Professional Stand-Up Comic, Bartender, and Ranch Hand, His work can be found in both fiction and non-fiction, books to magazines, and literature to cinema.

E.C. McMullen Jr. is also published under his nickname, Feo Amante, and is the creator of the popular website, Feo Amante's Horror Thriller.
